Invited to interview?

If you have received a letter inviting you to an interview, now is the time to stop and consider the best approach for you.  Attendance at this stage is voluntary so you do have the option of not going.  Depending on the circumstances, you may be better off providing a written statement answering the investigators’ questions.

The first step is to contact a specialist solicitor.  We have many years’ experience of benefit fraud work and can quickly advise you as to the best course of action.  If you do go to the interview, we can come and represent you, ensuring that you put your case forward in the best possible way.

You will find that many other law firms dabble benefit fraud work alongside other practice areas such as general criminal defence, wills and probate, or other private client work.  The difficulty with this is that you do not know how much experience your legal advisor has in this complex area of law.  Poor quality advice based on limited experience can do more harm than good.  We have been specialising in benefit fraud for many years and know the system inside out.  Our years spent practising in this area mean that we can quickly assess a situation and advise on the best course of action for your particular circumstances.  We often get cases dropped for our clients, or the seriousness of any charges levelled against them reduced.

Because we are a Legal Aid provider, most of our clients do not have to pay for our help.  So what have you got to lose?  Contact us today.
